HP's C7973W is a
Linear Tape-Open 3(LTO-3) format tape cartridge. It has a tape length of 680m which enables a native
data storage capacity of
400GB that can be expanded up to
800GB when compressed. It features the Write-Once, Read-Many (WORM) capability which allows customers to realize a cost-effective solution to secure, manage and archive valuable data. The
HP C7973W tape cartridge has a 30 year archival life.
